When the family gathers for summer barbecues, the burger buns roll out, enticing treats cover the tabletops, and soda pop flows freely. I use to be a part of all of that, but I have become intolerant to lactose, gluten, and sugar. Just looking at it should make me shrink in abhorrence, but sadly, I find I either need to indulge or find an alternative.
One day, in utter dismay, I threw my hands in the air and said, “Someone should write a tolerant, healthy summer snacks cookbook.” And so, here it is: a gluten-free, lactose-free, and low sugar cookbook featuring warm weather treats.
